PROFILE
Dr. Rachael Cassar Torreggiani B.A. M.A. LL.D. graduated from the University of Malta in 2003. She subsequently did a postgraduate with the University of Malta where she specialised in the field of trusts. Dr. Cassar Torreggiani also holds a certificate from the Institute of Financial Practitioners (IFSP) in Trust Law and Administration. Apart from her specialisation, she has also co-edited a book published by the IFSP entitled “Maltese Cases & Materials”.
Dr Cassar Torreggiani is an associate with a reputable Maltese law firm and practices in the various fields of law, mainly civil law, commercial law and company law. She will also be sitting for an examination in June 2005 for the obtainment of a special warrant to assist clients in Church annulment proceedings in Malta. She is also currently a Director and Company Secretary of a trustee company registered with the Malta Financial Services Authority.
Dr. Cassar Torreggiani has also conducted a number of lectures in legal English at the University of Malta to Italian lawyers and jurists on contract law, company law, business and negotiations.
